Story behind
It was said that when the sixth master, along with a group of horse caravans, was crossing the border between China and Myanmar, they were caught in a storm and almost lost their lives due to landslide. Cold and hungry, the sixth master guided everyone to find shelters in a village. Seeing that it was quite a caravan, the villagers took out all the mutton stock that they had prepared for the New Year and cooked it with other vegetables. The sixth master and the caravan was so starving that they gobbled up the whole pot. After that, they felt much warmed up and asked what was that delicious food. The sophisticated village head thought that a flattering name would certainly get more reward for the villagers. So he answered it was called the soup of the white jade. The sixth master, rather content and joyful, rewarded much to those who brought out their own clothes and food. When the sixth master returned home, he still often thought about the soup. Later, he asked the kitchen to make the soup which remained until today.
